CMR’s platform is built on a solid foundation with performance as a top priority. CMR leverages the latest technology, allowing a high degree of flexibility and scalability while seamlessly integrating with existing enterprise-wide systems.

CMR’s browser-based architecture has many advantages over traditional desktop-based solutions. Clinical staff will only need a Web browser installed on basic client systems, reducing maintenance and total cost of ownership, and offering maximum portability. Clinical staff can perform documentation from a variety of different sources, including desktops, laptops, tablets and computers-on-wheels (COWs). With the time-critical environment of the ED in mind, CMR allows for a downtime of minutes for updates—not hours or days.

CMR stays abreast of the latest HL7 developments and offers full support for HL7 messaging. The interface engine used by CMR is very robust and allows for Admission Discharge and Transfer (ADT) integration, and extensive orders and results integration with existing health information systems. CMR provides its users with as transparent a process as possible. Through various integration packages for lab, imaging and ECG integration, CMR provides clinical staff with a seamless transition from paper processes to electronic workflow.

CMR is continually updated as requirements associated with the practice of emergency medicine, emergency department management and medical education change. CMR was developed and is updated with input from emergency physicians who use the system in their daily practice.

Clinical, administrative and managerial support, in addition to technical support, is provided 24/7 for CMR users. We go the extra mile to be easy on a facility’s IT resources. The technical support from CMR includes hands-on assistance with server installation, network setup, and ongoing server maintenance. We understand the heightened support needs of the emergency department, and we are committed to being responsive.
